Customer Reviews
Inflight 200 Aer Lingus Boeing 707-348C EI-ASO final livery (green and white) (cn 19354/503)
This aircraft was built in 1966 and crashed while flying for Transbrazil Airlines March 21, 1989. Through it's history it flew for many airlines as a lease aircraft and charter. The last flight, EI984 was a special charter flight organized by the airline to mark the event of the last 707 flight for Aer Lingus . The flight lasted 1 h 22 m departing Dublin and flying down over Galway Bay and back to Dublin. Delivered to Flying Tiger Line on 6/21/66 as N324F it was the 707 featured in the 1970 film "Airport". The mould is good and the model has many details that add to its realism. The Green black and white colors are beautiful. The white clover leaf on the green tail is awesome. The model has multiple antennas, warning lights, landing lights and features well marked passenger doors and windows. There are an emergency egress arrows on the wings. The cockpit shape and windows are spot on. Tires, wheels and landing gear look good. This model also has a large cargo door. With this model we have more than a dozen 200 scale Aer Lingus models in the early colors and these final and current colors of the airline. Review by James F (Posted on 7/31/2011)
