4 stars
The plane comes in one full piece, not including the stand. Its made of die cast metal so it did have a nice weight to it and feels solid. The paint looks well done and very glossy. I dont see any imperfections anywere except for on top near the front, it looks like white splotches. Not sure if thats supposed to be there or not but its no big deal. It's very detailed even in some areas I wished werent so detailed. There are these small shark like fins on the top which is very sharp so this is definitely not for children and should be on the stand as a display item only which is what I'm using it for. The wheels are really small so pushing the plane on the ground like a car doesn't work too well. The stand looks great but kinda sucks because there isn't a screw to secure the plane to the pedestal. Theres just a pin that goes in the hole on the under side of the plane so it wobbles left and right and to take it off the stand, you would just lift it up. The main problem I have with this plane is the proportion and if its been scaled down correctly. The engines seem a bit small. I like the 777s for their massive GE90 engines. Comparing pictures and this airplane side by side, I'm not blown away by this toy as I am with the real 777. It looks like the fuselage is thinner also. Overall, this is a pretty detailed and high quality model plane. It would be 5 stars if the engines were bigger. Review by Tee (Posted on 2/21/2019)
Mixed feelings
I decided to purchase this aircraft as I didn't have this version of the 777 . and I'm taking it early in 2019. First impressions are very good. Great looking aircraft and a nice feel to it. On closer examination there are flaws. Quality - tiny dor like paint imperfections around the nose which aren't really visible so I can live with. ez was great about it and offered to take it back but I can live with the miniscule imperfection. Since then I've noticed a brush like imperfection under the back paint - again minor so no worries but in my opinion poor.

From a design POV there are deficiencies incompatible with the price. The wheels are fixed down, however, no detail in the wheel wells and the incorrect colour. Also, there are no lowered inner doors present for the main undercarriage - which is acceptable in all modes except for lowering and retraction but in this case, there should the outline of the retracted doors in the fuselage.

I am happy with keeping the model but will think hard and long about another Phoenix. IMHO they pulled one on us!
