GJ has mastered the superb colors of this aircraft. There is nothing like giving an artist a chance of use a big B737-800 as a canvass.
The mould is wonderful The nose, cockpit and cockpit windows are all properly shaped and I like the fact that the windows are black as they show up nicely in that color.
The model has three antennas. One on top of the fuselage and two on the bottom. This are scaled properly and positioned in the correct locations.
The wings meet the fuselage with hardly a seam. The tail does have a seam but it is acceptable. Passenger doors and windows are crisply reproduced. On the wings there are emergency egress arrows.
The aircraft flew under a Boeing registration number N6067E Sept. 2 6, 2006. It was registered to Alaska Oct. 10, 2006 in the Spirit of the Islands colors. Scimitar Winglets retrofitted in 2014. These look like a piece of sculptress on the ends of the wings.
The engines and landing gear are correctly shaped and scaled.
This another Alaska replica to add to the growing 400 scale collection of Alaska models. (Posted on 12/26/2015)
