N270AY was inherited in the US Airways American merger. The aircraft was made in 2000, first flew March 7, 2000 and was delivered to as N670UW in US Airways colors March 30, 2000. It received its current regionstration of N270AY in September, 2006.
The GJ A330 mould is very nice. It has antennas and many other fine details like nose and cockpit shape, the use of dark color windows for the cockpit and the passenger windows.
Cargo bay doors are clearly marked on the model. The American colors are perfectly reproduced on the tail and on the logo on the fuselage. The titles are of the correct size and fonts.
The landing gear futures rolling rubber tires. The fleet number is printed on the nose gear covers. Engines are correctly shaped.
This is a nice model to add to the growing current colors of American pre and post merger. (Posted on 10/6/2015)
