This model was one of 11 that Aeroclassics released in only a 24 piece per model package. Featuring the modern colors of American Airlines the model is chocked full of details and that this a wonder to put in a collection. Escape routes are marked on the wings. The cargo bay doors shower up clearly. The passenger windows line up perfectly. If you look closely at this model you can even see the wind shield wipers. On the undercarriage you can even see the rear exit door. In the early years of the B721 and B722's in the days before jet ways, passengers entered and exited the aircraft through this rear entry. After the hijacks that were becoming a regular part of aviation more security on the aircraft were achieved by eliminating the rear access/egress doors and passengers boarded through the jet way and security screening could occur before boarding.
