Gemini Jets 400 American Airlines B757-223ER w/winglets N185AN
At first it was discussed on some of the forums that AA would not put the new colors on older planes like the B757 and the MD80s. But this is a beauty for an old plane with sharp new colors and winlets they may fly it for many years to come.

The aircraft made its first flight April 4, 2001 and came into the AA fleet May 16, 2001. It was registered May 17, 2001 and got winlets Aug. 14, 2014. It got the new livery paint Sept. 6, 2014 at Roswell.

GJ has refined this mould adding better looking landing gear. The nose gear cover has the fleet number on it. The shape of the nose, the cockpit and the cockpit windows is correcly place. The passenger doors and windows are vivid on the grayish colored fuselage. The new livery colors are captured correctly.

The engine shape is correct. There are emergency egress arrows on the wings. The registration number is correctly placed after the American flag in the back quarter of the model. Cargo bay doors are marked clearly. The winglets are the correct size.

I think GJ is bent on making every plane in the AA livery as we have a couple of other 757s in the new livery. Still it is a good addition, especially for fleet builders.
