This model must weigh a pound! When you set a B747 down next to it...it must be at least 25 percent bigger. There are many pictures of this plane on Airliners.net. Herpa has done well on capturing the shape of the nose and engines and many other details. There are 32 sets of wheels on this airframe, including two side by side pairs on the nose. Marked on the model is the nose section that on the real plane opens up like a giant mouth. The cockpit windows are well depicted. There are very few windows on a plane like this. It is built for cargo and its interior is almost wide and long enough for an NFL game. (Posted on 4/5/2011)
