During the airline wars and mergers in Canada there was a time three separate colors for CP could be seen on a flight line.
The model has several antenna's top and bottom. The red warning light on the top of the fuselage is three dimensional I really love that detail, especially when you see it glow when well lit.
The overall colors of the model match perfectly with the one on one. The rage and reddish colors are spot on. This 747 was a type that had 10 windows on the upper deck. The passenger windows on both decks are crisp.
The model has proper display of the registration number and under the cockpit in big black letters are Empress of Italy label and the CP Air just behind it.
Flags are positioned and proportioned properly on both sides of the model. On the wingers the landing lights are visible and the wing tips have their warning lights. This being a -200 version of the B747 the wings are tipped with a reverse facing antenna.
The cockpit is properly shaped but I wish they had used a darker color for the windows. The same could also be said for the PAX windows.
Scaled landing gear and rolling rubber give another bit of detail to this model. Cargo bay doors are also marked. The fleet number 744 graces the top of the tail and the nose gear cover.
If you are a collector of this era of CP Air you will want to know two more models are coming soon and there are still a few left here at EZ of additional models in these colors. (Posted on 7/27/2015)
