Six two scale 720s take up a lot of space im the crowd of Braniffs which must be close to 100 models in 200 scale starting with the props.
The orange version is particularly attractive color for placing the airline name in black on fuselage. On top for fuselage is a white antenna aft of the cockpit. Passenger windows are in a grayish color. Would have preferred black this is no detriment to the model.
The nose on the WM B720, cockpit windows and cockpit shape is spot on. The wings come together with the fuselage almost seamlessly. The tail and the horizontal stabilizers merge almost seamlessly to the fuselage.
The cargo bay doors and passenger passenger doors are properly positioned. The cargo bay doors are in silver., the passenger doors in black. On the undercarriage of the model there is one antenna. The landing gear is scaled and the rubber tires roll.
Orange also flew in Beige, green/light green colors.
The aircraft first flew for Boeing April 27, 1962 and was delivered to BI May 10, 1962. After Oct., 1973. It was eventually broken up April, 1982. There were 154 B720 air frames. (Posted on 1/3/2016)
