Customer Reviews
Crestline not "Catsline"
Looks great but one mistake that should be corrected in any further productions is that it has a "Catsline" marking which should read Crestline. Named after a small town near the base in Mansfield, Ohio. Review by Photo Joe (Posted on 8/4/2013)
C-130H Hercules, 179th Airlift Wing "60th Anniversary" Dragon Wings
Various versions of the C-130 have been around since the late 40s and this H version is one of the latest versions. It is the last version with the 4 bladed props as the J version uses six pointed props. The DW C-130 is not too bad a model in spite of a lot of use of plastic. Some times plastic is an advantage in that you can etch in greater details on the wings and model surfaces as we see on this model. I particularly like the door markings , the color tips on the props. The landing gear appears scaled but lacks some details seen on other models of this size. This model comes with a stand. It can be displayed with the rear door open or closed. The props do not spin nor do the tires roll. Review by James F (Posted on 1/6/2011)
