This aircraft is still flying for the Canadian Air Force. This Aurora is from 14 Wing, CFB Greenwood. The Inflight version of this mould leaves a lot to be desired. Recently Hogan came out with a P-3 that is far better than this. The thing is, for any one who collects fleets it will be necessary to collect from both model makers if you want to maximize the fleet. There are several images of this aircraft on A-net: http://www.airliners.net/search/photo.search?cx=partner-pub-8297169501225184%3Aa05n2n-tzky&ie=ISO-8859-1&q=Lockheed+CP-140+Aurora+~+140104&sa=Submit&search_active=1&search=&sheadline=&search_field=datedesc&submit=&siteurl=www.airliners.net%252F. If you compare the model with the pictures, the noses is a mess. The real aircraft has a longer and more pointy one. The landing gear is okay and does have the fleet number on the nose gear covers, a future I like on models. The gear itself is okay but the hubs on the images are painted white and the model has silver or brass color. This aircraft is a recon aircraft and has many antenna that IF choose not to include. The tail and engine shape is correct on the model. Seriously, when you look at the recent Hogan, it is superior to this mould. (Posted on 8/6/2011)
