The Vickers Viscount 800 was the world's first turbo-prop airliner and had it roots in 1948, had its first flight in 1950 and entered service for the airlines in 1953. This particular airframe entered service with Capital June 15, 1955. The V700 had a seating capacity of 40, four abreast or 47-63 in five abreast layout. The model features great detail in antennas. However, there is little detail on the undercarriage of the fuselage. The round doors and windows are printed clearly and crisply. This was the first Vickers Viscount purchased by Capital. Later when Capital has financial problems their fleet of Viscounts merged into United Airlines. (Posted on 8/31/2010)
