The Continental Airlines Golden Jet livery ushered in the jet age for Continental. This model goes nicely with previously issued DC-9s, B720 and B707 and is a wonderful addition on my 400 scale airport. The black print on the gold tail just looks great on this model. The model has a large cargo door so this aircraft was actually a combo passenger and cargo plane. The printing is sharp and clear for the windows. You can see the door handles depicted on the doors and the cargo bay markings are also crisp and clear. Rolling tires and landing gear appear to be correctly scaled. I was unable to locate a picture of this airframe. (Posted on 8/31/2010)
