C-FCRD C/N 20927 was delivered to CP Air as Empress of Australia back in November 1974 after having its first flight in October 1974. After having a short term lease to Braniff it was returned to CP Air then in being sold to PIA in January 1986 and then being retired and stored in Karachi Pakistan in December 2002.

This is another beautiful B747 model on the Inflight mould. The aircraft went through many color changes and even name changes during its history. This replica depicts it in the Orange colors of CP Air and the 1986 Expo logo on the tail and fuselage. The model has many details to make it look real. Antennas, fleet number on the nose gear covers, rolling tires on scaled landing gear, sharp printing of passenger doors and windows, cargo bay doors, polished metal to name a few. There are now more than 10 CP Air orange models in 200 scale. Interesting note: this registration number also was used by a DC-10-30 that ran in later colors of Canadian Pacific and Canadian International Airlines. (Posted on 3/10/2012)
