Built in 1965 and delivered to Delta Nov. 23, 1965 and sold March, 1981 and later carried several other registration numbers before being broken up.
The widget livery of Delta looks smashing on this model. It is like having a white canvas back drop to place the red, white and blue Delta colors on the model.
Among the wonderful details on this historic model, the landing gear are scaled properly, the nose gear carries the fleet number. The blue and red cheat line is placed perfectly with the passenger windows sharply marked along with the passenger doors. The cockpit is shaped properly and the cockpit windows follow the clear markings of the PAX windows. The engines are shaped properly and carry the Delta widget on the white paint. Warning lights, clearly marked cargo bay doors and emergency egress arrows on the wings further enhance the beauty of this model.
