Gemini Jets 200 FedEx Boeing B777F28 N880FD (cn 32967/718)
I really love the GJ200 B777 mould and the FedEx colors are perfectly painted on this model. It comes with a wood stand. This model joins five other FedEx's in these current colors. The aircraft was the prototype for the Freighter version of the B777. The aircraft was built in 2008 and first flew under Boeing registration N5020K on July 14, 2008. It was delivered to Air France Nov. 30, 2009 and delivered to FedEx March 17, 2010, registered March 23, 2010. There 11 images of the aircraft at A-Net: http://www.airliners.net/search/photo.search?cx=partner-pub-8297169501225184%3Aa05n2n-tzky&ie=ISO-8859-1&q=+N880FD&sa=Submit&search_active=1&search=&sheadline=&search_field=datedesc&submit=&siteurl=www.airliners.net%2Fsearch%2Fphoto.search%3Fcnsearch%3D22936%2F1830%26distinct_entry%3Dtrue&ref=www.airliners.net%2Fsearch%2Fphoto.search%3Fcx%3Dpartner-pub-8297169501225184%253Aa05n2n-tzky%26ie%3DISO-8859-1%26q%3Dn215fe%26sa%3DSubmit%26search_active%3D1%26search%3D%26sheadline%3D%26search_field%3Ddatedesc%26submit%3D%26siteurl%3Dwww.airliners.net%252F%26ref%3Disearch.avg.com%252Fsearch%253Fq%253Dairliners.net%2526sap%253Ddsp%2526lang%253Den%2526mid%253D143daf6a59d347d1b74dd147e0b8fe1b-b602d594afd2b0b327e07a06f36ca6a7e42546d0%2526cid%253D%25257BA5D3C08C-556D-49E3-8DA3-09D94DC884C2%25257D%2526v%253D11.1.0.12%2526ds%253DAVG%2526d%253D5%25252F14%25252F2012%252B11%25253A53%25253A29%252BPM%2526pr%253Dfr%2526snd%253Dhdr%26ss%3D3622j12938720j6&ss=, including one when it was parked the the Memphis hub of FE before being painted in their colors. The cockpit shape is perfect and so are the cockpit windows. The model has multiple antennas that add to detail on the aircraft. Cargo doors are clearly printed. The landing gear are accurately captured by GJ. The rolling gear and spinning rotors in the engines are another nice feature of the model. The nose gear cover has the fleet number printed on it. This is a gorgeous addition to my current colors collection of FedEx models in 200 scale. Review by James F (Posted on 9/19/2012)
