The B717 is a perfect aircraft type for jumping from island to island and also use at smaller airports in Hawaii. GJ has done several B717 in Hawaiian colors.
This aircraft first flew for Boeing Dec. 16, 1998 and then used by several airlines when Hawaiian leased it Oct. 16. 2008 and was register N489HA and was eventually purchased by Hawaiian.
The current Hawaiian colors are both pleasing. They look so well on the white Hawaiian back drop.
Landing gear is tiny and scaled. the fleet number is visible on the nose gear covers. Warning lights are on the top and bottom of the model and on the wings. Emergency egress arrows are printed on the wing.
This is a great addition to the Hawaiian fleet with more than 100 models from the earliest days of the airline to the current time.
