InFlight 200: Eastern L -1011-385-1 Tristar Registration N9329EA
This model has plenty of detail but there are some issues. First off, mine arrived with a missing upper fuselage antenna. This is being corrected by a replacement that is in the mail as I write this review. While I love the Tristar and am somewhat disappointed in this model. First off, the color just doesn't quite seem write. The dark blue cheat-line is almost black and not dark blue. The lighter blue that is on line with the windows doesn't seem to match well with the few images that are available on A-net. Finally, the gray color with sorta of a disco speckle doesn't look correct. The model is already sold out, however which still gives this model an overall approval, I guess. I like the white version liver better. But because of history I am also glad to add this version to my collection of 1:200 scale Eastern Airlines models. Used to see these when I was a kid at West Palm Beach Florida. Review by James F (Posted on 10/17/2010)
