Lufthansa 747-100
Herpa Wings Die-cast Model Airliner Lufthansa 747-100 1:400 Scale, Item#HE561839
Details
In the spring of 1970, the original took off on the first scheduled 747-flight of a non-American airline, from Hamburg to New York via Frankfurt. Only three 747s of the basic version –130, with which Lufthansa was never fully satisfied because of its many “teething troubles”, were ever taken on. Indeed, the second D-ABYB crashed due to these problems. So they didn’t even make 10 years in the fleet. limited to 1,250 examples
Diecast metal airplane in 1:400 scale, printed (not decaled), in meticulous detail. Made for the real enthusiast! T
