Aeroclassics 400 Northwest Airlines B377 N74602 "Seattle-Tacoma"
I found a picture of N74602 awaiting its final process in the boneyard: http://www.pbase.com/zortek/image/94168865 The model by Aeroclassics in capturing the nose shape. The landing gear is scalled properly and when compared to the image available the placement of the windows is correct. I also have a Dragon Wings Northwest B377 N74601. The livery was slightly different. This variant had three windows behind the engines on the belly of the aircraft while there are only two depicted on the Aeroclassics model. There were only 56 airframes made. The B-377 actually evolved from the B-50 airframe, the military bomber. When in use they were hard to maintain and for the most part ended use in 1959 or 60. This was one of the first airliners that had a little space to it and amenities such as a bar and lounge area. There were sleepers for the long haul over the water from the west coast to the Orient.
