I love the old Northwest red and gray colors and that is what we found on this model. It's history had it in the colors of Eastern, Republic and eventually after NW merged with Delta it is now in Delta colors. The aircraft was built in 1966, first flown Oct. 20, 1966 and registered with Eastern Airlines Nov. 234, 1966. It was delivered to Republic Nov. 1979 and registered with Northwest Dec. 26, 1979 after the merger and registered with Delta after NW merged Dec. 31, 2009. The model shape is spot on with the actual aircraft. NW red and gray colors are depicted correctly. There are many details on this model. The antenna on top of the fuselage is white as it is in the images on A-Net. There are two other antenna on the underside of the model and they are positioned correctly. Nose, cockpit and cockpit window shape is spot on. Engines are correctly shaped. Passenger windows are printed clearly. I am glad to add this model to my fleet. I may need another whole shelf for all the NW models I have in 200 scale. (Posted on 8/17/2012)
