This aircraft flew in both Northwest Orient and transition Northwest colors. There are four pictures of the aircraft on A-net. The Boeing 727-100s came out and were scooped up by many airlines. Very soon, though Boeing created the -200 with more seats and a larger, longer airliner. During the period the Northwest flew under the Northwest Orient design, there was no "N" on the tail...just a red tail. (Posted on 8/30/2010)
