This is a another nice contribution to Northwest Airline history as we see a Northwest Orient on a most beautiful B727-200. (This plane also flew for Sun Country Airlines at times in the 1990s. This is a polished metal finish is so shiny you can see your reflection in it. The printing of the passenger doors and windows really stand out as the white above the windows and cockpit area makes for great contrast. The model shape is spot on, with a back nose radome. The cockpit windows are also very well depicted. Landing gear is scaled and rolls. The wings are marked with the emergency egress arrows. Cargo bays are also nicely depicted on the shiny chrome metal. This model is over the solid red tailed era. There is only one picture of this plane in these colors on A-net: http://www.airliners.net/photo/Northwest-Orient-Airlines/Boeing-727-251-Adv/0727302/L/&sid=4967df14018b6502758958b5d03fc317 but there are several in the battle ship red and gray colors that followed these colors.
