Personally I love to see a red maple leaf on a field of white. The NWT livery is distinctive and fits perfectly on a L-188. This is a combination aircraft fitted out with a large cargo door as well as passenger area on the plane. The Electra operates well in the very cold climate of the NWT of Canada. The combination configuration allowed this airline to serve their clients both cargo and passenger in remote areas of western Canada. At one point NWT had a contract with Air Bridge and flew cargo in Europe. The seams on the model are well fitted. The printing of the passenger windows and doors is crisp and properly placed. Now just image you are at Yellowknife, NWT at -45 degrees F and the wind is blowing, trying to load cargo and get a few passengers on board before the oil freezes! (Posted on 12/11/2010)
