Aeroclassic Pacific Western B707-1308B NC blue tail livery C-FPWV (cn 17696/29) Review by James F
Pacific Western was a major player in Canadian Airline history. Eventually it merged with Canadian International in the chaos of mergers in Canada. There are six images on A-net of this aircraft: http://www.airliners.net/search/photo.search?cx=partner-pub-8297169501225184%3Aa05n2n-tzky&ie=ISO-8859-1&q=C-FPWV&sa=Submit&search_active=1&search=&sheadline=&search_field=datedesc&submit=&siteurl=www.airliners.net%252F. I like this livery better than the first one which was all white. The blue tail and cheatline make it very much beautiful of a wonderful aircraft, the B707. The model has many details that make replica collecting the joy it is. The engines are correctly shaped. The landing gear is scaled. The nose gear is especially detailed. The cockpit shape is correct. The passenger doors and windows are sharply printed with the blue cheatline correctly covering the windows and coming to a narrow point under the cockpit. Emergency egress arrows are on the wings. The landing lights are clearly visible on the wings. One is hard pressed to find anything negative about this mould. (Posted on 11/13/2011)
