Hobby Master 200 Pan American DC-6B, N6110C
This beautiful model will join a whole herd of PA Am's of the prop age-B377, DC-3, DC-4, DC-6, DC-7 and Connies. For Pan Am collectors manufacturers have gone to town making a large number of models in the various Pan Am schemes.

This aircraft delivers in Dec., 1953 and flew for Pan Am through Sept., 1968 It later flew for Mackey International.

Featured on this model an U-shaped antenna behind the cockpit, red warning light on the tail and other warning lights on the wings. Cargo bay doors are marked. The Pan Am blue cheat line is correctly colors and overlaid on the passeger windows which are dark gray. The nose shape is correct as are the cock pit windows which are in the dark gray like the passenger windows. Passenger doors are clearly marked.

The landing gear are properly scaled but the tires do not roll. The nose gear door cover has the fleet number printed on it. This model suffers a flaw shared by other DC-6 HM models. The nose gear cover does not fit properly . This been some I have noticed on their other models. If you try to push it in be careful not to break the door covers off!

This model is Clipper Natchez and that printed on the fuselage behind the cockpit. During its history it carried two other Clipper names.
