This is the other WM RAA B727-22C issued. There are five pictures of it on Airliners.net: http://www.airliners.net/search/photo.search?cx=partner-pub-8297169501225184%3Aa05n2n-tzky&ie=ISO-8859-1&q=N831RV&sa=Submit&search_active=1&search=&sheadline=&search_field=datedesc&submit=&siteurl=www.airliners.net%252F This was an airline that flew to rugged places, dirt runways, high fuel prices, hard to maintenance locations for Alaska. When you see and feel the model you will know why I like this one. These final colors of Reeves using a red, white and blue on a white background complement the new Western Model B721 mould. This aircraft and the model are configured for cargo and passenger operations with a large cargo door on the model. Landing lights and warning lights are on the wings and fuselage of the model. The wings meet the fuselage with a little bit too much seam but it is still acceptable. WM could have added a couple of antennas and the tail guard as seen on other moulds. Landing gear is scaled, rolls and the nose gear covers also have the fleet number printed on them The passenger windows and doors are crisply printed. The cockpit and its windows are well shaped though the nose could be a tad longer. Now if someone will do a C46 RAA fans will be very happy to complete the collection of the main types this airline used. Review by James F (Posted on 8/26/2011)
