This aircraft flew for 27 years with Northwest. Starting out with the Northwest Orient colors, painted in the old Northwest colors and then on to its final colors in the red and gray livery. The model is very well done and a wonderful addition to my NWA collection of 200 scale models. The nose, cockpit and cockpit windows are spot on with the real aircraft. The model features several antennas on the top and belly of the aircraft. Warning lights on the fuselage make for further detail, however there are no warning lights on the wing tips. The cockpit windows are properly shaped and as an added detail you can see the windshield wipers. Passenger windows and doors are sharply printed and line up perfectly with the images of this aircraft on A-net. The red colored tail matches the color perfectly. The engine shape is correct. The landing gear is amazingly accurate with rolling tires. Cargo bay doors are clearly marked. For people who collect NWA this model is an important addition and a nice asset to add to any collection. (Posted on 10/23/2012)
