There is nothing like know that an old DC-6 is still making a living in the Alaska skies carrying freight. Built in 1953 this aircraft is still flying. It started with the USAF 53-3391.

The GJ DC-6 mould is a good one. The nose, cockpit windows and shape are a reasonable reproduction. The colors are shapely printed. The engines look good as do the landing gear. The nose gear cover has the fleet number on it. I like the "Alaska big dipper stars" on the tail which adds distinction to this model.
