Hobby Master Air Canada Vickers Viscount 757 CF-THS (ms279)
Hobby Master's latest Vickers Viscount 700 CF-THS is a real beauty indeed. The model has many details that add to its beauty with spinning props but the tires on the landing gear don't spin, at least on my copy of the model. HM is mastering the ability to put on tiny antennas, landing and warning lights as well as markings for the doors on the fuselage. Cargo bays are also marked. The Viscount was a British medium-range turboprop airliner first flown in 1948 by Vickers-Armstrongs, making it the first such aircraft to enter service in the world. It would go on to be one of the most successful of the first-generation post-war transports, with 445 being built. The model includes a stand but be careful it doesn't snap tightly into the model so the model could easily fall off the stand.
This aircraft was delivered to Trans Canada Airlines in February, 1958, and flew for Air Canada till April, 1974. Later it was acquired by Western Canada Aviation Museum in 11.82 and is nowadays preserved indoors. Like one of the other reviewers I hope this model will also be done in TCA colors.
