This is the second GJ200 Delta B757-200. This one has winglets and was originally registered to DL Feb. 6, 1989 after making its first flight under Boeing colors Nov 18, 1988. It was delivered to DL Dec. 7, 1988. For a year or so this aircaft flew in Song colors keeping the DL registration.
The GJ200 mould is near perfect and I always look forward to their 757's
GJ has captured the current Delta colors perfectly.
The replica has great detail in its landing gear, featuring rolling tires, hub caps on the the wheels. The nose gear cover has the 641 fleet number on it.
The model has several antennas, warning lights on the wings and fuselage. Landing lights are clearly depicted on the wings right next to the fuselage. The nose gear also has landing lights on the strut.
The nose, cockpit shape and cockpit winds are near perfect when compared with images on various photo sites.
Emergency escape arrows are depicted on the wings. The winglets are shaped correctly and have the proper colors on them.
The previous DL B757 had been a TWA aircraft but this model depicts a DL B757 that has always flown for Delta.
Cargo bay doors look great on the white backdrop of the current Delta colors. (Posted on 6/22/2013)
