Western Models 200 Flying Tiger Line Curtiss C-46 N67962
From 1949-1955 N67862 flew for Fling Tiger Line and later for Canadian Pacific Airlines and Qubecair. It was crashed in Sept. 29, 1977 flying for North Coast Air Services. There is a great thumbnail history of the aircraft at: http://www.edcoatescollection.com/ac3/Non-skeds/Flying%20Tiger%20Curtiss%20C-46.html

The replica is reproduced correctly in all regards. The nose, cockpit windows and shape is correct. The windows are printed in gray. The white fuselage is a perfect back drop for the FT colors.

Tail is shaped correctly with registration number correctly positioned. The cheat line and windows are correctly printed on the fuselage. The doors are marked on both sides of the model. Engine shape is correct.

Landing gear is correctly scaled with rolling rubber tires.

This is a great contribution to aviation history and hopefully the mould will continue to be well and frequently used. Would think that Western could add antennas to these and others of their line.
