GJ has been very attentive to Hawaiian Airlines additions and color changes.
In 200 scale this model is absolutely gorgeous.
The model features the newest livery representation. The colors on the model
are reproduced perfectly.
The cockpit windows and shape are reproduced beautifully. You can see the
windshield wipers just under the windows. The cockpit winds and passenger
winds are painted in a dark grey, almost black color which stands out on the
white backdrop of the HA colors.
The rolling rubber tires on the landing gear are a feature of this model. The nose gear
number on it. The lights are the nose gear are well done. The lights on
the wings are also well done. The Trent 772B-60 engines are hung seamlessly
on the wings. Micro printing on the engines are so small they are unreadable
make give a detail to the engines that further enhances the model.
GJ has been a front runner in placing antennas on their models. There are three
on the top of the fuselage, positioned correctly and scaled properly. Warning lights on the top and bottom of the model look great. They are three denominational. The warnings lights on the end of wings add further detail.
The wings merge without seams to the fuselage.
Passenger doors have micro printing on them, including the door handles. The
Hawaiian flag is placed next to the front door of the model. The American
Flag is just to the lest of the registration number. On the fuselage there
is a WI-FI dome. The name of the aircraft, Makali'i is marked on the front
of the aircraft just above the Airbus 330-200 label
This model is a great additional to the 200 scale Hawaiian Airlines collection.
