Plane spotters model
I have a favorite airport that I watch. Jackson Hole Airport, Wyoming. They have a web cam that updates every few seconds and you can watch one of these B757 with winglets being serviced from landing to departure. The fuel truck comes up to the aircraft. Both forward and after cargo doors are opened as belt loads are moved into place and old style cago carts are brought in to add and remove luggage. In my recent observations of KJAC, all the AA planes have winglets. It is for me a real pleasure to watch the real plane while holding the model. That website taught me a lot in how planes are serviced. In 2007 I got to go to the airport and take pictures of ground ops...at one time there were five B757-200s lined up on the flight line: UAL, AA and Delta. It was totally a great experience with the Grand Tetons in the background and planes close enough that you could kick the tires.
