- Northwest 727-251 N288US
-
This aircraft, N288US flew in three different Northwest livery colors starting out with Northwest Orient and into the transition colors to Northwest. There was very little difference in the paint job expect the "Orient" was dropped. Later the plane was painted in the gray/red colors. This replica is in the transition colors with the tail logo added after the Orient was dropped. The model is a combination of polished metal and the reg, white and blue of Northwest/Northwest Orient. With this a the two other Aeroclassics that were issued August, 2010, we now have a complete sample of all of the liveries for the B722. The model is well marked with red lights and cargo bay and door markings. (Posted on 8/30/2010)
