Aeroclassic 400 Continental DC-10-30 N14063(cn 47864/121) Red meat ball livery
This is another DC-10-30 that flew for Continental in all their colors, red meat ball, black meatball and golden globe on blue livery. This DC-10 was built in 1973 and first flew for Alitalia and later leased by Sabena. The aircraft came to Continental June, 1984 and got its registration number March 1, 1990\. The aircraft was stored in 2002 and withdrawn from use when COA retired their DC-10s. The Aeroclassic mould is near perfect from its engines to the shape of the body to the nose and cockpit shape. There are wonderfully printed details including accurate reproduction of the colors of this aircraft when it was in the red meatball livery.Warning lights on the tips of the wings are clearly marked. Landing lights are also noted on the wings. The doors, both passenger and cargo are clearly marked and shaped. This is a wonderful addition to the COA collection and even if you have previous versions from other model makers this is worth adding. Review by James F (Posted on 11/19/2011)
