Hobby Master has caught the general essence of the livery on this model. For the collector who appreciates accuracy, it is only fair to note that there are two main errors 1.) the cheatlines have white between the red lines (instead of bare metal) and 2.) the aircraft registration is missing from the port wing underside.
That said, what IS applied is crisp and tight all around on my sample, but regrettably joins the litany of misinterpreted late 50's CPA models.
Outside of that, the mould has a pleasing and reasonably accurate shape, while the non-rolling plastic landing gear can be positioned in a retracted or extended position. This model is a wonderful addition to the Canadian Pacific 200 scale collection. For prop and CP collectors this is a must have model. The colors are correct although there was some discussion on 400scalehanger.com about the cheat-line stripes not being correct but when you look at the model and the image it is pretty tough to tell if there is a mistake there.
