Inflight 200 Air Canada B737-275/adv C-GNPW (cn 22159/684)
This aircraft has Canadian aviation history written all over it. C-GNPW started out with Pacific Western and later went on to Canadian International. The aircraft first flew July 15, 1980 and was delivered to PWA JULY 28, 1980. It became part of Air Canada April, 2001 and was placed in the interim colors of Air Canada. The model is in these colors and Inflight has done great in matching the colors with the images of this plane. Plus, you could not ask for nicer colors on the white backdrop of the aircraft. The tail has the red maple leaf on it on a background of dark green, just like in the pictures. The printing of the passenger windows and doors is perfect and crisp. The model has multiple warning lights on the fuselage and on the wings. Landing lights are visible on the wings and nose gear. The engines are perfectly shaped. Rolling tires on scaled landing gear are another positive feature of the model. So far we only have two other models in these colors. Hopefully we will see a few others from the fleets and also some one will do the Canadian International colors to add to the Canadian aviation history in models.
