Aero Classics United Airlines Airbus A319 Post-Merger LiveryReview by Hadi Ahmad
A Five-Star model for sure! I flew on this aircraft to Washington Dulles from Chicago O'hare and the plane had the exact same registration! I was lucky to buy the final one but on the bright side I hope eztoys do restock this so anyone else who wanted to buy it can finally buy it. The livery and everything on this model are correct! I really do hope eztoys does restock this! (Posted on 6/6/2012)
Aeroclassic 400 United Airlines A319-131 United/Continental colors N854UA (cn 1731) Review by James F
This aircraft was built in 2002 and first flew April 2, 2002. It was delivered to United May 17, 2002 and registered by them Sept. 9, 2002 and is still flying for UAL in the UAL/Continental colors. This is the short baby bus. We are lucky to have the Aeroclassic A319 mould. It is spot on in shape. With this model AC has caught the cockpit shape and windows as well as the nose. This is the only picture on A-net in the current colors: http://www.airliners.net/photo/United-Airlines/Airbus-A319-131/1902132/L/&sid=355ab572388da76a616d5742101aa6eb The plane started out in the Battleship Gray colors. There are a number of finely printed details on the model, including the American Flag, froward of the rear passenger door, the Star Alliance symbol just behind the cockpit. The landing gear are scaled and correct and the nose gear cover has the fleet number on it. Warning lights are marked on the model The emergency egress arrows are on the wing. Aeroclassic is very timely in the release of this model in these colors. (Posted on 8/16/2011)
