Glory to the GJ400 A320 mould and their efforts to produce the new set of colors for the United post merger colors. This aircraft was built in 1993 and came to UAL fresh out of the box delivered Dec. 9, 1993. The post merger colors are very complementary to the A320. This aircraft is the back bone of service for UAL on domestic flights. The model features scaled, rolling landing gear. The nose gear cover has the fleet number on it. The UAL colors are impeccably produced on this model. The nose shape, cockpit shape and cockpit windows are faithfully reproduced on this model. Passenger windows and doors are produce crisply. Cargo bay doors are another feature of detail. The wings are tipped with warning lights. Landing lights further add to the detail on this model. Engines are perfectly shaped. It appears this aircraft came to UAL in the battleship gray but never went into their Tulip colors and was painted straight away into the merger colors. (Posted on 11/16/2012) - United A320
