The aircraft was built in 1997 and first flew April 1, 1997. It was delivered to United April 29, 1997 and registered by UAL May 1, 1997. This aircraft when delivered carried the UAL Battleship gray livery. I had planned on not collecting any more UALs after the battleship colors but could not resist this one. It is one heavy piece of diecast metal and you got to love it. The details on the GJ 777 mould are wonderful. On this model the passenger doors and windows are shapely printed. There are door handles on the doors. The model has a multitude of antennas on the top and bottom of the fuselage.The cargo bay doors add more detail to the model. The scaled landing gear are superb. They roll. The nose gear turns. This model comes with a very nice wood and metal stand. Various lights adorn the model adding more detail. All very nice! (Posted on 1/10/2012)
