Gemini Jets 200 UPS MD-11F N277UP (cn 48578/588)
This aircraft first flew with Japan Air Lines June 28, 1995 and then continued its career with UPS June 10, 2004, being converted to cargo at that time.

The model comes with a nice wooden stand, something that GJ has added to many of their 200 scale models. It is nice and sturdy, unlike some of the other stands.

The UPS colors are quite nice on the white back drop of the fuselage. The UPS logo on the tail is perfectly place and the brown colors outlined in gold make for a snazzy model.

All three engines are shaped correctly. The ones on the main wings merge with the wing in a seamless fashion. The cockpit shape, cockpit windows and nose look spot on. The wind shield wipers are visible and add just another detail to make this model a great one.

The model has rolling rubber tires. The nose gear cover carries the fleet number. The model also has a number of antennas on the top and the bottom of the fuselage.

On Airliners.net there are five pages of images of this aircraft. I particularly like the ones taken at Anchorage, of which there are several pictures.

This is a wonderful addition for cargo collectors and adds to the impressive numbers of model in 200 scale in these colors.
