I have seen the Thunderbirds in F-86s, F-100s and F-16Cs over the years. I have collected other Thunderbirds in 1:72 scale but I wanted to just see this one in 200 scale and Herpa came through. This model is tiny...about an inch and a half long. The version comes with an open cockpit or closed cockpit option. It will look great next to my SR-71s, recently released. I just never imagined it would be so tiny yet great details are found in the markings on this model and landing gear. I would love to see Herpa do the other ones as they add to their models. There are many F-16s that could be done besides the Thunderbieds. (Posted on 7/15/2010)
