Nice Jet but as he said not accurate to the one flown for the kill
I did some research based upon his review because I am getting the model but found it to be inaccurate as well, different squadron flown and no ZF on the tail of the actual pilots Jet. The Shark Mouth was not on it as well so that part is inaccurate. The star is on the right place though as far as the jet kill goes because that is where they painted the kills on the Jet near the left intake so it was not painted on the nose as the pilot said nor did they place kills near the front of the nose on a F4 phantom so he is wrong there if you look at the pic of his jet.

Close... but not accurate
Looks real pretty, however the jet did not have the shark's mouth on the nose. There was no green squadron decal on the fuselage. There was no TAC patch decal on the tail in front of the ZF. The Mig Kill star was painted on the nose, about where you have the shark's eye, not on the left intake ramp. How would I know? I was flying that hard wing F-4E on 2 June 1972, with 1/Lt Jack Smallwood in the pit. The parameters of the kill were: 500' AGL, 90 deg crossing angle, slant range to target 200 feet, airspeed mach 1.2.
