You can just about see your reflection on this polished metal beauty. I checked to make sure the nose gear tires were locked in as the pin has separated from several recent Aeroclassics 727s. The model represents N2823W. The aircraft was originally delivered to Western Airlines 3/9/1977, although there is a photo on Airliners.Net showing February, 1977. In the late 1970s this plane was painted in the "white" flying "w" livery, latter buffed out in the polished finish. It flew for Delta after Western merged in with Delta on into the 1990s. Later it flew with FedEx. Eventually this aircraft, flying the FedEx colors, was transferred to Morning Star Express and is still flying for that Canadian based firm. (Posted on 8/29/2010)
