Introduced in 2007, the double-deck, wide-body, four-engine A380 is the largest passenger airliner in the world. The cabin of he A380 has 50% more floor space than the B747 with seating for more than 525 passenger in three-class configuration and 853 in all economy-class configuration. The A380 was designed to be able to use existing airport infrastructure with very little modifications, and have operation costs 15-20% less than those of the B747 with 10-15% more range.
