About Boeing 737

B737

Since entering service in 1968 more than 8,000 737's have been ordered, with roughly 5,000 delivered and 4,500 in still service. The B737 became Boeing's last narrow-body airliner and the most ordered and produced airliner in the world. It has taken over markets previously filled by the B707, B727, B757, and MD-80/90 aircraft. Roughly one B737 lands or departs somewhere every 5 seconds! Now our math might not be right on this one, but all that translates into a lot of B737 airline models.
