N930AS flew in several different colors during its life time. In the 1980s it came to work for Alaska with the smiling Eskimo tail. They had sunglasses painted on the Eskimo making it a unique model. Later it worked for TWA (N960TW). After the merger with American it was painted in the American Airlines livery. This model has a few problems that you will have to decide on whether they are a deal breaker or not. I think the nose shape doesn't look well compared to the real aircraft and the nose is inferior to the Gemini mould released in Alaska's later colors. On a more positive note, the model does feature may details such as antennas, warning lights, landing lights and many markings on the passenger doors. Emergency egress markings are painted on the wings next to the fuselage. I think the engines might be a touch too short on this model compared to the real airframe. I am an AS fan so I am still glad to add this model to my collection. (Posted on 3/30/2011)
