Inflight 200 American Airlines B707-323C N7556A (cn 18690/356)
N7556A first flew Nov. 27, 1963 and was delivered to American Airlines Dec. 13, 1963 and flew for them through the late 1970s. It was stored and eventually broken up in 1986. Our model is a combo passenger cargo aircraft with a large cargo door after of the cockpit. The model is polished metal and requires special handling with gloves to avoid leaving finger prints. .The printing of the lightning bolt livery of AA is beautiful for marking this B707. There is only one picture of this aircraft on A-net: http://www.airliners.net/photo/American-Airlines-Freight/Boeing-707-323C/0539391/L/&sid=5505f78d89de754fe495917a600ba291 From this image we get that the shape of the mould is good,. The engine shape is correct. When look at how tiny the 707 engines were compared to today's modern jets it is amazing how small they are. I remember seeing 707's taking off with a nasty trail of exhaust which eventually brought efforts to cut the pollution as the jet industry continued to grow in the late 50s, 60s and 70s. All and all this is a nice model to go with my AA 707 collection. For fleet collectors of this airline it is a must and a good backup if you missed the earlier releases.
