I am not big fan of the A300 but this is a very nice model and well done. The shape of the nose and cockpit are correct. There are many nice details since as the cargo bay doors being marked clearing, the American Airlines blue, white and red colors, the logo and the fonts are all correct. The model also shows warning lights, has rolling tires on its properly scaled landing gear. The nose gear cover has the fleet number on it. The only complaint I have is that the wing/fuselage seam is a little gaped but not really a deal breaker for those who collect AA. The nose is more blunted on the model than on the 1:1. We sure have an immense number of 200 scale American Airlines model ans this is a nice addition. The aircraft first flew with an Airbus registration.Jan. 12, 1989. It was delivered to AA March 23, 1989 and registered N8067A. It was retired to storage in 2002 after 17577 take offs and landings. It is stored at Roswell, NM. In its later years it was in a polished metal finish as AA dropped the grey color.
